Within a small Boat to Staffa Island
Staffa is an Island of the Inner hebrides. The name comes from the Vikings as its columnar Basalt reminded them of their houses. The Sea Cavern "Fingal's Cave" named by Sir Joseph Banks in the late 18th Century had been visited by many famous visitors such as Queen Victoria, Sir Walter Scott, and Felix Mendelssohn which was inspired by the Cave to compose its "Hebrides Overture", opus 26. The gaelic name of Fingal's Cave is "An Uamh Bhin" - The melodious cave.
