First of a series of squares, in continuation of my Agora Collection.
Here you see from down to top the rich decorated dome-shaped ceiling of the Oriental saloon of the castle of Villandry (France, Loire), original made for the 15th century palace of the Duke of Maqueda in Toledo. When that palace was demolished in 1906, the owner of Villandry bought this ceiling in thousants of pieces and let it reconstruct here. The decoration contains Moorish and Christian symbols. This composition will be for sale as a photographic print on dibond covered with acrylate (50x50 cm, limited editions.) Information: firstname.lastname@example.org
