Happy New Year My Special Friends!!! Wishes within

Hello All, as the end of 2008 approaches at a rapid rate, I thought I had better pass on good wishes for the year ahead.
Yesterday I returned to Ayutthaya after a visa run to Vientiane Laos.
Caught a mini bus to Bangkok, and then took a flight to Udon-Thani, from there a taxi ride to Nong-Kai, then through the two border posts on a bus that crosses the friendship bridge, built by the Australians, connecting the 2 countries.
Early on Christmas morning I caught a tuk-tuk to the Thai Embassy to apply for a further two month visa for Thailand and on Boxing Day returned to collect my passport.
My Christmas was a colourless time to be honest.
I spent 3 nights in Laos and then 3 nights in Udon-Thani catching up with friends.
I met a stunning lady in Laos, born to a French mum and Lao father.
Sadly I met her on my last night in Laos, the poor sole works 17 ½ hrs a day as a beautician in one of the villages.
Well tonight I plan a night a night I shall never forget, more of that later!!
My wishes are firstly a safe time followed by a healthy and happy time then good luck to each and every one of you!!!
May the year ahead be filled with good luck and happiness?
My word for 2009, we all have to believe in something in life, choose wiselyand may you all be blessed thereby.
