This underinformed green movement is one reason why we still had to extend old Nulclear plants in the past instead of building new ones with much higher safety (e.g. no need for external cooling system) than the old ones.
Nuclear energy is not without risks and shortcomings, but one has to see the risks and enviromental damage caused by other arts of energy. Less nuclear means more use of fossile fuel at this point because alternative energy cannot provide baseload energy (large amount of steady energy). More fossile fuel means an acceleration of the climate change that can reach an irreversible point. Please read books of James Lovelock, like the "Revenge of Gaia." He is an environmental scientist who has a very sensible view on these issues in my view.
die Zeit ist reif dafür, es gibt andere Energien und ein umdenken hat doch in der Bevölkerung schon lange statt gefunden, nur nicht bei den Politikern.

Ich hatte die gleichen Gedanken.Allerdings finde ich, wir sollten eine Kursänderung einfordern.
