Hey guys, don't get me wrong. I appreciate the foto and I guess it's in the best tradition of street photograhy. I am a carnivore myself, so I just wanted to point out that everybody should be made aware of the underlying facts. (In the same sense, that everybody should be aware that every email he writes is public.) And I suppose 99% of the city dwellers in the industrial nations think meet comes out of refridgerators, or simply doesn't care.

In my opinion, the meat-production-industry with its accompanying producers of chemicals and pharmaceuticals are the problem.

Yes, really we are hunters and omnivorous, therefore, it does not seem to me unlikely that eats up animals. The problem is the way. It is necessary to allow either an improper industry that ill-treats to the animals, and either death with suffering. One more time, the development only comes to some and only serves for some things, but we forget others. This photo tries to portray customs, the debate just is eurocentrist, when we place our values above. In Argentina it is "natural".

Jeder weiß wie Essen gemacht wird, zumindest bei uns am Land - und da gibt es vergleichsweise wenige Vegetarier.
Der Mensch ist nun mal Jäger und Sammler! Erst der Verzehr von tierischem Eiweiß leitete die Entwicklung der Menschheit ein und sie geht weiter bis zum heutigen Tag. Der Mensch hatte, durch die energiereiche Nahrung, plötzlich Zeit sich mit etwas anderem zu beschäftigen, als nach Essen zu suchen. Die zunehmende Veganisierung wird diese Entwicklung langfristig zum Erliegen bringen, dessen bin ich mir sicher.
Übrigens, das Schwein hätte gar nicht gelebt, wäre es nicht von vornherein zum Verzehr bestimmt gewesen.
Die Massentierhaltung in Käfigen unter unzumutbaren Bedingungen ist auf jeden Fall zu verurteilen!
Dieses Bild regt zur Diskussion an - schon deshalb ist es gut!

At least for us in the countryside everyone knows how food is made, and there are comparatively few vegetarians.
The human being are hunters and collectors! Only the consumption of animal protein initiated the development of mankind and it continues to this day. Due to the energy-rich food the human being had been suddenly time to employ, with something other than looking for food. I am sure, the increasing veganisation will bring this long-term development to a halt.
By the way, the pig would not have lived, it would not have been determined from the beginning to be eaten.
Keeping animals in cages in deplorable conditions is to be ordered in any case!
This picture stimulates discussion - even so it's good!

I'm vegetarian, that was the reallity and this is the work of a photographer. Nobody likes to see some things...but the simple impact is not the solution, we'll try to do some more!

Ist das Bild doch voller implizierter Grausamkeit, ist es richtig sowas zu zeigen. Führt es doch jedem Nicht-Vegetarier vor Augen, was er gerne verdrängt. Außerdem gehört es vermutlich noch vielerorts zum Straßenbild.

Ach so, das Foto ist sehr gelungen.

Auf dem Vorschaubild dachte ich es wird gebürstet und ist total relaxed! :-(
