Abandoned car-plant in Moscow, Russia.
This plant was built in 1935 with help of German engineers. Now it is abandoned and deserted. It is situated no far from center of Moscow - just 10 min. by metro from Kremlin.

This plant was closed in 1997. At present time part of its territory rented by Renault group. Now few companies in Russia still making a cars: Lada or VAZ in Toliatty city, GAZ in Gorky city, ZIL in Moscow and some plants, wich make cars for army purposes.Harald Finster 8. November 2004, 22:05

oh yes, good old moskvich ;-)i know them from some books. do you know when this factory was closed? is lada the only productive car plant in russia now??

Plant name is AZLK or some people say "Moskvich". This guy on pic is my friend and industrial photographer Alex.Thans for comment!

great location and good pic!!! does not look so very abandoned.... what's this guy doing there :-o ?what car plant was that? beside lada i know some names of big luxury russian cars as zim, zil, etc....
