Rohan - Home of the brave Rohirrim, of old true allies of the Kings of Gondor in their long and hard fight against the dark Lord in Mordor! As a great admirer of the Lord of the Rings by Tolkien this picture touches me very much. I'm also a great fan of the films (my three sons and I particularly like the extended versions on DVD!) and so I'm happy to see your fine photo of this really impressing landscape.

I was there couple of weeks ago, in Fall. It would be better to have some snow on the mountains, but it was warm enough to drink a beer in Front of Mt Sunday

Its very easy to find. Just go to Mt. Somers at ask a local. There is only one way up there (gravel) and that way splits. Both ways are beautiful (Lake Heron) (to te right) and straight towards Mt Sunday.
