A photo already posted in the Italian section with the title “Alone” (Sola). I decided to resubmit it in this English section after the comment by Jack Brooks which gives the title of this re-posting

I am very honoured for having inspired a great artist
The picture says alot, it talks to you. I don`t realy want to comment on your camera work wich is excellent, because I`m focused on the story the image tells. I think thats the point of great photography. Who cares about the lense.
Her look makes a world of difference. Image this picture with her eyes downcast: it'd be your typical third-world-child-in-need-of-aid picture. This is surprising and fresh.
Greetings, Christoph
as usual perfect camera work: great colors and angel. but what i really like about this angel is her proud expression - this 'i am facing my fate' -look. fresh and strong and not asking for mercy.
Very tender portrait really. As usually your colors are stunning. Don't really care for calling human's angels though, I feel it somehow robs from our humanity. Angels don't have free will.
Whether it is Sergio's or not - I don't think it's a "gallery" shot although I like it as a simple portrait of a young girl. I don't see anything exceptional attributes about this particular image. Sorry Sergio and Luca.
Congrats Sergio..
The reason for my recommendation for this photo for the gallery is due to the fact that this picture is so different to many other photojournalistic photographs of African children. The way this photo was captured is different in the sense that it does not portray the hardship, poverty and other negative aspects normally associated with African children. Rather it portrays the beauty and innocence’s that many African children have.
With Kind Regards
Luca
