what a beautiful bouqeut! lilies of the valley surrounded by bright and luminous, almost toxic looking green – the epitome of spring! the combination of colors, white and green, is simply irresistible! and what a nice tradition to present lily of the valley bouqets to each other for luck on the 1st of may! i grew up with the tradition of decorating the breakfast table with chocolate maybugs on may 1st. i guess i'm weird, but as a child i always cried, when people ripped their little bodies off the tiny little cardboard legs to get to the chocolate – the remains looked so pitiful! ; )))))) happy belated mayday, dear véronique! amitiés, sabine.
