what a breathtakingly beautiful and primeval looking place again!!! this landscape seems so very much alive, and the hills literally seems to sigh and moan and their "limbs" in their sleep! i remember reading a book as a child that dealt with a town at the foot of a mountain and its people whose life circled around not trying to wake the monster that for ages had been sleeping inside the mountain, if i remember correctly… ; )) the mountain must have looked somewhat like these here, i think… ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: the book was called "xandi und das ungeheuer", for all those german speaking people who may remember it, too…

Great variation of green. This beautiful glen looks like a painting. A lovely countryside with a tradic history. The light from the other side of the glen promises better weather. Well done.

Super colours with the purple heathers in the front. Not much room there for a battle with the sides so steep making a small valley. You think they would have chosen a flat area where they could get away if required!

This is such a typical Highland landscape, I love it!
You managed to get hold of all the shades of green that are on display on a sunny, yet cloudy day, introducing as well the shadow's and faraway blues and violets.

A photo that makes me feel again the farsickness...
