The Argyll Bar

Gracious and rough-hewn are most certainly not mutually exclusive.

But I did enjoy how they came together in my viewfinder on this drizzly November day in Inveraray, Scotland.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t time to sample the pub ambiance and the “attentive service” touted on both sides of the
Argyll Bar’s entry, but there was something most inviting about the bar’s obvious pride in such traditional amenities.

Something to look forward to next visit.
