I was asked to take a pic of this lab for a friend's father's Christmas present, I took it in the studio with a black BD which had to be worked after I hope you like the result :)

Great studio portrait of the black lab....I think the choice of BD was excellent and the detail and color is great...my PP would have been a little fill lighting to get rid of the clipping in the shadows around the neck and nose, but this is great and still has my vote...............Pro

OK I am going to put myself in the position I find most uncomfortable ... the lone dissenter ... a beautiful dog with nice angle of view and nice catch-light in the eyes but as a gallery image, regardless of one's taste or preference I am sure that editing needs to be quite good. I am sorry to say it but the image is clearly containing a lighter background that has been edited out and the fact that I can clearly see it is a problem for me .. this can be done properly (I spent some time doing this myself once) and it will benefit the lovely shot of the dog but, as it is, I cannot see it as 'Gallery' if the gallery represents a showcase of excellence, ingenuity or originality. Very sorry Charlotte and Susanne. Regards, Paul.
