I've always been fascinated by these Great White Pelicans. They seem to have "don't mess with me" written all over their faces. I just love them!

pelicans are great!!!! and this one here with its huge bill of purple, pink, blue and yellow is a BEAUTY! love how you not only captured his slightly melancholy eye but also the amazing textures in his plumage!!! greetings, sabine. p.s.: i'm sure you are familiar with my pelican eats whole pizza story? i've related it so many times here on fc, that i'm already a little embarrassed about it… ; )))
