Look Up, Way Up

in the alley just around the corner of my neighbours' house ..... and you will find a curious assortment of discarded runners and shoes :-)))

I have not noticed the "Sneakers up on the power lines" before, at least not where I live,
and was surprised to read some of the other comments on how prevalent this actually is
and its possible meaning. An interesting fact Adele, you are always so observant!
    Hugs, Gi

shoes on wire is a new habit of the younger generation. I've seen
it in many towns and countries....

For electric wires and boxes , it looks just like here, !

Do you know Adele that the shoes , baskets...means a territory of little gang and it means : respect the territory! Is this the same at your place ????
    Hug !

Viel interessanter finde ich die drei Eimer an dem Mast. Das schaut aus, wie ein Ausguck auf einem alten Segelschiff

a new marketing hit by adidas or nike or puma? a place to dry wet snikers? a public-art monument? cabins to invite birds to settle down? - or just a scientific experiment to find out what crazy ideas people do develop looking at the stuff??
    thanks for showing anyway -

Die Schuhe habe ich auch dort oben in den Kabeln hängen sehen....

: ))) please take a picture of the discarded runners, too! i do sympathize with them! in fact, i felt a lot like hurling myself up there, too, after my last disappointing jog… ; )) just kidding. so strange, this fad! and so funny, how the shoes all look the same – like mussels or barnacles in the sky… great capture, adele! and thank you so much for visually neutralizing the smell by including the blooming tree in your image! ; )) hugs, sabine.

Good docu shot, but I don't see the usefulness of this use.
    Probably a temporary rage ?
