This greasy and slimy fungus with its irregular and brains-shaped fruiting body can be found all year round, but mainly in late autumn and winter.

I never knew that you can find fungi also in winter. Always thought they grow only in autumn.
The English name is fitting, but again love the German name "Goldgelber Zitterling".
Perhaps it's called like this, because those "leaves" are relatively fragile and do easily jitter in the wind...
