I was ready to shoot birds..Fixed my camera on the tripod and focused on a cormorant enjoying the beautiful sun..Then, heard the flap up wings. When I hold my head up, saw this pelican flying over me..sooooo huge…Grabbed my tripod in a second, and started clicking ; praying out loud, to get at least one good shot at the same time…
This was the best I could get :))
I learned one thing…It is so hard to shoot when you try to hold the tripod in your heads and focus into the sky !!!! What an experience :))

On the sunny side, you were able to take a very decent capture of a pelican and sustained no injuries when struggling with the tripod
