This is a perectly valid shot
This notion is void.
Here, Natasha is on the deck of a CCCP submarine
in the Baltic Sea, smoking a cigarette before going deep down the sea.
Photo tells a story and that's all
Alles in allem sehr gutes Bild.
Ciao bruno.
I happen to like this photo.
True, the image might not have the clearity that can be achieved in a studio setting, but to a news photographer, or a photojournalist, the image is more important, then the clearity.
Try setting up studio lighting in a war zone, to get an action shot, you'll probably get your head blown off, before you can even snap the shutter for the first frame.
Plenty of Pulitzer Prize winning shots didn't have 100% clearity, but still were published for the image alone that they portrayed.
Natallia, shows the other half of herself in this portrait.
Away from the glamourous studio set-up shots.
Away from all of that make-up.
She shows herself as the down to earth person that she really is, and to a photojournalist, that is the real beauty of this person.
Natasha, you can upload every photo you want. why should I have something against it. I write only MY OPINION to photos. see the lots of other users. they are very excited about your photo. Why should the section be wrong? women outdoors?
and I guess, the less of the users are highly blessed artists. I´m also an amateur. but I set my expectations for a good photo on a high level to improve my own photographical skills. if you don´t want to have negative critiques under your uploads from me, you can set me on ignore ;) but what should be good to you? only lovely and WOW-comments or an honest and direct comment?
Keine Sorge.
LG
