I'm In Love, With This Young Buisiness Woman. Story Within.

For all those waiting to see a photo of the business-woman I fell in love with.
I met this charming young girl on the way back from the Kouang Si Waterfall not far
from Luang-Prabang Laos...
She lives in a Hmong village with her tribal family; I just had to visit this village.
The Hmong or Mong tribes originated as refugees from South China and you will find
them in Thailand, Vietnam and Laos.
How could you not simply fall in love with such a cute young child, working to help
the family’s income by selling these bits of needlework, which I'm sure were made by
her grandmoter.
You can read read the applied psychology on her face in this picture, wow what an attitude??
She is absolutely fuming with me for purchasing some pieces from an old lady about 80 years of age.
Whilst she was sulking, I quickly took this shot.
I then moved closer to take another photo, when she put her hands over her face and
announced that if I did not purchase two items from her, she would not allow me to
photograph her!!
Well she melted my heart, so I purchased two of her items and a handsome tip put a healthy smile on
her tiny face, that smile was worth a million dollars to me and I shall never forget it!!
While I was walking back to the mini van, she shouted my name Ning.
I thanked her and told her I would visit her again one day.
She does not attend school and her parents cannot speak a word of English, so how in the world
can she communicate in perfect English???
The photo merely tells a small part of the story; one had to experience the atmosphere in order to
appreciate it fully.
I can imagine her walking to school in a uniform, no one would give her any trouble, as she would
sort them out.
Well my friends, how about a smile from you all??
Remember what the Irish say; when you’re smiling the whole world smiles with you, but when you’re
laughing the sun comes shining through.
So how about a smile today??

Walkabout John.

This pic, together with your story, is GREAT!
I love these children too in Cambodia or VietNam -
a lot of them have very hard live, some are
without parents and have to survive in any way.
It's one way to help them when you buy some
    things from these children.

    LG Claus

    Dear John -
what a story-telling picture besides and completing your story - I love this sense of surviving and achieving in this kids - also seen and experienced in Cambodia - which makes them such good psychologists and therefore drives them to aquire foreign languages for to make good business. Some of them also learn some words of german or/and italian - or korean and japanese - depending on the tourists they meet. On Koh Samui I met a young Thai who learned russian because there are lots of russian tourists now.
I would have felt in love with here too - and thank you for the smile!
    Big hug
    Sabine
