I was really impressed when I saw your photos of Japan and it catched my eye at once. You understand to show the Japanese culture in a very special way and that's a great talent, I think. Keep it up!
thank you very much for your comment. you have a really personal way to see Japan. it was a great pleasure to watch all those things i know so well in a new and different light. your photos are really Japanese, but there is something special about every single one. i most like the ones from the kiyomizu dera, because i tried to catch the atmosphere but i couldnt. great compliment for that.
Dear Alain,

Thanks a LOT for your very nice comments. I'm new here and still trying to figure out all the options so please forgive me if I don't answer in the right place and time.
I have taken a look at your website and am completely blown away. Totally inspiring. I can't wait for you to get the rest of it up and running so I can see more of your work.
I think it is the composition and use of colour thats makes your portfolio stand out.
While browsing it may be worth you looking at the work of Sergio Pessolano on this site as his travel photography is also truly outstanding.
Once again welcome, and I look forward to seeing more of your work.
I spent a great deal of time at your website. Every one of your images on Japan are astoundingly beautiful. I've just fallen love with your style. Really enjoy your control of depth of field and natural light. I am wondering what you do in post processing. I am new to my 20D and have been reluctant about really learning how to use all the features, and rather intimidated by RAW. I'm also attempting to learn to use Photoshop. You have really inspired me to get out the manual and get more serious.
