I started photography when I was about 17 at that time with my first camera a Nikon F-601.

Finding myself immersed in different cultures is what I enjoy most. I see myself as an observer. I am attracted by "everyday life" situations, very often street scenes, that are not posed. I like to focus on human expressions or activities. But I appreciate any kind of photography as long as it is aesthetic and/or frees emotions.

I am looking forward to your comments and especially your constructive critique either in english, german or french.

My current equipment: Nikon D300, Nikon D100 (back-up), Nikkor lenses: 80-200/2.8, 17-35/2.8, 50/1.4

I am a big admirer of photographers like Steve McCurry, Jonas Bendiksen, David Alan Harvey, Alex Webb, Helen Levitt, Sebastiao Salgado and many other brilliant photojournalists.

hey Marc,
reise heuer nach Rajasthan und bin auf der Suche nach guten Bildern auf deine grandiosen Porträts gestossen. Lassen sich die Leute bereitwillig fotografieren ? Es sind ja keine "überraschungsfotos". Hattest du damals auch das 200er Nikkor in Verwendung ?

Mir gefallen Deine Bilder sehr, da Du ebenfalls eine Vorliebe für Streetfotografie hast... hab allerdings noch längst nicht alles angeguckt... kommt aber noch, und die neuesten Uploads werd' ich auch nicht mehr verpassen ;)
