Been working loads, gonna be 14 days straight before i have a day off on thursday.
Just brought the canon 50mm 1.8 mark 2 lens of ebay for £25 new. Not bad. looking foward to having a fast lens as i still havent got any decent lights nor the space to use them.

ohh great idea..the pic is amazing..i luv the fake eyelashes and contacts...it was easy 2 find the movie..i loved it..but dnt u think using arabic calligraphy limits a bit my audience! anyways i hope they dont assasinate me as well! Today was my art exhibition i sold the pictures and some of my art pieces..it feels soo bad each time i sell away something..it's like selling ur own babies :'(

Good luck with the venture. It is just that you learn so much about not only photography from being an assistant to good pros. Plus you get to know a few clients. It is the recognised route to a pro career otherwise you can end up struggling.

It is great to 'meet' you Dennis. In my opinion: You have a rare talent which you should continue to develop. You are also beginning to have a personal 'handwriting' which you should consciously develop also. You have, in short, the beginnings of a great photographer. (I have seen many and I know). Keep up the good work. The people you photo suggest a certain type of community that reminds me of the Toulouse Lautrecs of this world. Continie to use it well. Get yourself a job as a photographic assistant maybe?

Thanks for making me feel welcome. So you're a night-worker too? I had a look at your portfolio and like it... I see things we have in common..( maybe I am interpreting things the wrong way..correct me if I'm mistaken)..meaning the casualness of the outdoor shots versus the totally controlled inside or studio shots. I have nothing against casualness, actually I prefer it because I see it as a sign of modern digital photography. I don't give a hoot about the pics I took outside because I know that every picture is just one more pile of pixels untill I decide to give it meaning and purpose in Photoshop. The other thing I like is your tendency to theatrical photography, personally I think you are very good at it. You might want to look up the work of René Eijsink, here:http://www.pinto.nl/index.htm

I published some of his pictures in one of my books. Anyway, I'll watch your portfolio closely. Keep it up!
