As long as I can remember, I've been making pictures. I started with a pencil, and then a brush, but when I discovered the 35mm SLR, my world began to change.
My pictures no longer hang on the refrigerator door, but on family room walls, faireplace mantels, and now your computer monitor. The only thing that hasn't changed is, my mother proudly displayed my work nearly four decades ago and still does today.
I've been shooting for about 25 yrs (in the US, in and around Joplin, MO.) and I just went digital five years ago. I love to do nature pics. I also do alot of portraits, model portfolios, and weddings.
My work can also be seen at www.wilsonphotos.net and www.modelmayhem.com/843054
I hope that through my photography, I can show you the world the way I see it.
Les Paul 001, who owns that guitar, the Les Paul series was introduced to the market on August 13, 1951, exactly my birthday. I am just curious about who owns the first issue. I would suspect Billy Gibbons of ZZTop.
Hi Danny! Thank you very much for welcoming words and welcoming flower! :) Your flower is really great! I like the colors and envy the composition! :) Also I had a look at your other works and have to say they are wonderful!
Hi Danny Congrats on your portfolio and work. You have a reallwide range of beautiful images and I enjoyed viewing them very much. I love your portraits...you seem to capture a natural relaxed aspect of your subjects. The Crystal series in particular is stunning. All best wishes.

Danny, I like what I see in your work. You and I share a like of photographing pretty much the same things.
If I commented on each one I would be here all day and I can't do that. One in particular though comes to mind. The Cemetary seems to be a little too dark, perhaps if you opened up the F stop a little?
Regards,
Buck Wicker
Thank you Danny..

Thank you for your comment and welcoming me to FC. Love the stillness of your Wedding 013 picture. There is so much excitement at weddings and then there is such a still thoughtful picture.
All the best,
Thank you for the comment re: 'Breanna'. I've made it a point to check out the work of anyone who posts to one of my pictures, and I really admire the composition in your photographs. You've got a wide variety of subjects, and they are all composed very pleasingly.
Have a great day,
Jeremy
Hello Danny and thank you for making my day with your nice comments on my pics and your lovely entry added in my profile!
I just took the time to page thru your gallery. I like your versatility a lot, my favorites are the night shots since I'm very fond of architecture at night as well.
Hopefully I'll find many more of your photos soon!
Greetings from Germany, Karin
(and thanks for the info)

thanks for your kind words Danny on "A walk through the hidden valley"I'm going to download a rework of "Loch Eil" Tomrrow when I get some space. Have a great week-end Danny.
Regards
Thanks for comment on"Loch Eil" I was fighting a bit with the composition tring to get the curve of the sea weed to lead into the picture and compliment the curve of the cloud swooping past the mountain.
Regards John.
Danny,
I use the 300D as well. I am almost grown out of it though. Thank you for the comment, It was an unusually warm, clear evening last night. I snapped about 10 of the bridge and came up with this one. I love your waterfall shot, I am still trying to perfect that one.
I use a Canon 20D. I shot the mausoleum a while ago & am not sure which lens I used. I know I did do some distortion effects in ps but I'd bet dollars to donuts that I used my 24mm.
Thanks for your kind comment, and you were absolutely right. I just started photography and it is so much fun, as an artist who was creating paintings mostly, it seems there are different aspects in photography when you want to capture a subject that I should learn them. Thank you again.
Thanks for your comment on my mandrill pic. Originally, the photo was in focus. But after goofing around with it ps, I started to blur & distort it & kind of liked it.
