I've been enjoying in taking a view on the photos here because each of them to me they just like different stories and share peculiar and fresh experiences, especially the most of them I cannot see in daily life.

Currently I'm a policy researcher working in the government. Feel sincerely sorry if my English speaking sounds too weird such as too official or incorrect.

Hi Anastasiya - Thanks for your comment - re: post edited pic - I was cloning out a tip of a pole from the bottom of this pic and it said it needed to change it to an 8 bit RGB image - it was 16 bit RGB image - Is this normal for going from a RAW to a JPG pic??? Hi Anestasya, Thank you very much - i did crop some of the dark edges off as there was much more than this - but i didnt want to lose the effect of the sky and the contrasts with the dark and light - if i lightened it too much it blew out the highlights. Best Regards

Thanks for your honest comment on my I cropped the image using the rule of thirds guideline. Maybe you can have a look and tell me what you think about it. Just wanted to explain why my composition was like this. What do you think about this rule in my shot? do you still think you miss a little at the bottom. My idea was to crop it from the bottom more so it would suggest that there the balloon is fgoing up and away from the viewer. Your comments are well appreciated. You don't look as an amateur, and even when you are one, as I am, you learn to see before any picture you take.
Some people are not observer, or don't pay attention to details, or to forms, or to colours. You do, and even when they don't exist, you make them exist, because (in an impressionist way) they were right in your heart and in your mind.

Great name by the way.. All my photos are scans from films and i don't have a professional scanner, too expensive.. this shot is an ok one. Still not satisfied. movement in the field because of long exposure f.i. About the harvesting, was looking for something else as a shade like a broken wooden wheel, someone underexposed or a lonely tree or something like that.. Thanks again!! Your input is appreciated! Thank you for your comment on my dutch windmills panorama To answer your question, yes i do have the photo in larger format. Actually it can be printed at 2 and a half meters easily 'without' any loss of quality. But that is probably too wide :-) i have a scan from 1500x500pixels on my pc, but i think i cannot upload larger files, they are automatically resized.. If you would like to see the bigger file you can send me an email. thanks again for your comments and hopefully i will see more of your photos!

Ps read your bio and i have to admit i studied economics and that is a boring deskjob too :-)

About your questions:
1) "Bathtime". The child's belly is so big for a not good nutrition (few proteins).
2) "Life Explotion". It was only a parade of a school (in Peru the people love performing parades and festivals in any occasion). I choosed that title because I thought it very suitable for the image.

You are right about the right side being a bit vague, i think its because this side the bay goes into a channel and its more distant than the rest - i maybe should have cropped it smaller, but wanted to keep the cloud formation in. you seem to be hypercritical with your own work.
This is good as long as you still can enjoy your results, which apparently not only I do but a lot of other members in the fc too.
If you can't enjoy your own work to a certain extend it will only be frustrating and you might stop fotographing, wich would be a real loss.

Jeff Mckinley is making a Christmas decoration to put on a Christmas Tree. About Jack Rogers he is using the lathe to make a childrens toy called a top. Yes I also thought it was amazing that the vase was one piece that is what drew me to photograph it.

I had mixed feelings about the project after wrapping it up. Kind of like the feeling of an actor on the final night of a play that has been both a pleasure and a burden.

Anastasia, I forgot to mention that the photo of The Efteling, all the buildings are built in fairy tale style, as it is a childerens' amusment park. The entrance is where you see these pointed roofs.

I looked around for those "poor ugly pictures" that you mentioned above, but was unable to find them. All I found was very wonderful and awesome pictures. I wish I was doning work of this quality when I'd only been at it for 3 yrs.

Beautiful pictures!!! And if you can speak Russian and Chinese, and English as well, you will be a total success in life. Russian is not an easy language, except for native Russians and it's one of the most interesting idioms in the world. I understand that Chinese is also complicated specially because of its entonations. My son speaks English and Spanish, as his native languages, and also Japanese, which he finds relatively simple since he had Japanese teachers since quite young. Also he just spent two years in Japan studying. Now he is also learning Mandarin at the university. Allow me to say that you are an exceptional pretty young lady. Good luck, always.

I have seen some of you pictures are they are beautiful,I know you must be a pro with the talent you have.
But my best is the REVISE.
I dont know what inspired you to take that picture that way but its a ever profound expression catptured. seems like the camera reads the mind of the subject in the expression.
The definision and the mood make it a ever expresive and intresting picture that alomost talk for its self can only read the lanuage of visual communication from the spirit.

You are right, it is the backside of the Taj Mahal. The picture was taken from a spot, that normal tourist are not visiting.

The second picture is simply tea. In China they are pressing flowers to a small ball. When you add hot water, they start to blossom.
