I started with travel photos 40 years ago! and continue today; "So may places, too little time." I like to shoot the interesting sights I see.
More recently, I have begun to search out places to shoot. I'm working to make photographs, not take pictures. I have also been processing the images for mounting and sale.

Hi John...
It is always an honor to have you stop by and comment on my pictures...when I first saw your picture, I thought it was my brother when he got his first snowmobile, he lives in Ohio right on lake Erie, even rode it to work a couple of time...me I moved south early, like to play in it, but like comming home to warm climate too...best wishes for a fine day, den
Hy John!
I already asked my friedn Claudio for her number. Tomorrow I'm gonna call her, and ask her for a meeting first...
I'll keep in touch with you and will tell you how's goin' on.
Thanks again for ur kind words
Thanks John, for comments on the garden of the Gods picture...you are right about the people at the bottom...I thought about cloneing them out, but it takes some time to do, and I know that I could have also cropped it up and made a mini panaroma shot...greetings, and I hope it isn't as cold as it looks there...den
Thanks John for your commment on my pictures...I have looked at some of yours and they are very professional...I hope you do not mind if I ask some questions from time to time....regards, den

Hi John,
Thank you for taking time to comment my photo "Hamer Market". You are right: f5.6 isn't enough for defocusing the BG well, but I still take "familiarity" with the greater DOF of the smaller sensor of Nikon's digital cameras.
Have a nice weekend.
Sergio
Thanks for all your comments.. kind of you ..
looking at some others of your nice pic, I notice you were very cold when you came in "my" mountains ! cheers Véronique

thank for your comment. Your right, of course he needs to be out of the shadow. To tell you the truth: I didn't even see him. It was very late when I uploaded this foto :-O
I will upload another one without him :-)
Hi John,
Thanks for your comment.
When I put this picture in the smaller version,
I explained the situation:
I saw this girl standing and reading the book in the middle of the market. It was Friday afternoon, just an hour before closing for weekend. The place was full of people yet she stood there as if she didn't see anything around her, concentrated in her book. When I looked at the photo I saw the name of the book: The orphan girl........
Many thanks you've commented a couple of my pictures. I really like your's and I think that MA is such a great place to capture great moments and places. Hope to see more of your visual trip reports soon ;-)

John,
nice to put the name with the face, thank you for the comment on the photograph "La India", I'm very much flattered that you took the time to look at the image, just an amature but enjoying the ride, I hope it leads to better things. ( photography wise ) I like your approach, " Make" not just take photographs"...I love the philosophy in that.
Raul.
