Moin, moin,

nett, dass Du vorbeischaust. Ich fotografiere schon seit meiner Jugend und seit ca 2001 ausschliesslich digital, mal mehr mal weniger intensiv. SLR mässig gehöre ich zu der Nikon Fangemeinde. Meine Aurüstung ist gut genug, dass es an ihr nicht liegen kann, wenn ein Foto nichts geworden ist..;-)

Seit Frühjahr 2004 bin ich begeisterter Anhänger der (Studio) Aktfotografie. Auch wenn ein Motoradrennen ebenso (fotografisch) anspruchsvoll sein kann wie ein Frauenkörper, ist doch letzterer die wahre Krönung der Schöpfung!

Dennoch mag ich mich nicht auf ein Genre festlegen, dafür ist die Welt zu bunt, die Motive zu vielfältig. Mal sehen wie sich die Dinge entwickeln, Anregungen für neue Motive und Perspektiven gibt es ja in der FC zur Genüge.

Hi folks,

since I upgraded my membership to "world" I thought I should upgrade my profile as well.
I have been in love with photography for more than 30 years. Periods of shooting one film roll after another were followed by several months of abstinence. My hobby got a boost when I went digital. I am part of the Nikon user community. My camera and lens equipment is good enough for not beeing responsable for bad results...;-)
A preferred motif of mine is the human (in particular the female) body. To my mind it is among the most beautiful things created by nature.
The most beautiful motif created by man is...yes: cars, in particular old cars.
Apart from that I simply love to take pictures of day-to-day motifs. The challange is to take a picture of things that thousands of people pass by without recognizing. The motifs simply are waiting all over the place to be "discovered" by the next creative photographer.

Hallo Jens and thank you for all your recent comments. When I discovered that I had only about 4 meters distance from the concrete pole (part of the skytrain) to the wall I decided to make it part of the image and have the car "crash" into the pole.
You might like today's image better :-)))))

Danke fuer Deine Anmerkung, lieber Jens ... ja, war im Aug. 2010 in Muenchen (rund um die Baltik im Juli, dann Kreuzfahrt auf der Baltik, dann Juli zu einer Hochzeit in Bayern). War auf meinem Geburtstag im Hofbraeuhaus etc.
