Started in 2004 with my first Digital camera HP945, which made very sharp pictures. After 2 years went to Canon 350D, this was the first step to photoshopping :-). Seems no other way to make the pictures better.

After one more year bought the Canon 400D together with better lenses and this camera is very much to my liking. Next step up could be the new 50D or the successor of the 5D.

Update (March 2009): 50D is a fact now :-) and makes a huge difference against the 400D. Very satisfied and an inspiration to make photo's I couldn't do before.

Time flies, it is july 2011, already more than 2,5 years ago when I joined FC. Since 6 months the proud owner of a Pentax K5, besides the Canon 50D. I must say that I almost never use the Canon anymore unless I need a better lens than I'll take it, Canon has better lenses than Pentax. Any other aspect the Pentax is superieur to my 50D, sometimes Pentax can be off in some vivid colours but this is seldom. So probably you will see more pictures taken with the K5 than the 50D.

Looks like the 5D MK.II might be the way to go. New Digic 4, 21.1 effective MP, ISO range up to 25,600 now. Its lookin might beastly and especially at only $2700 body only. =D
