I am an amateur photographer from a small rural town near Glasgow in Scotland, UK. I love everything to do with technology from photography to Linux.
My interest in photography first came about when I was in my early teens when my parents let me setup my own dark room under our stairs. I started off with pin hole photography and progressed to 35mm. I love macro photography but have never really managed to get the hang of it.
I changed to digital photography a few years back when I bought my first Fuji Film digital camera, I unfortunately left this in a taxi and it magically disappeared after I left the cab.
I have since upgraded to another Fuji Film but this time a S5500 which is a great little camera until I can afford to buy a new digital SLR.
Think i'm going to buy a Olympus E-410 Digital SLR from eBay next month.
I'm going to try out some HDR pictures this month
