ich hab meinen privaten Blog auf Wordpress laufen und daher kenne ich mich eigentlich gut mit der Plattform aus.
Da hab ich mir gedacht, richte ich mir doch mal eine Homepage ein.
URL angelegt, Theme ausgesucht, bezahlt, hochgeladen, aktiviert. Alles super.
Nur: Ich komme mit dem Erstellen eines Portfolios nicht weiter.
Dabei mache ich alles wie in der Anleitung geschrieben:
7.1. Creating Portfolio Posts - top
Creating portfolio posts is as simple as adding new posts to the blog. Let's start by opening the "Portfolio" dashboard menu and hitting the "Add new" button. You will also see a very similar page layout to the blog posts one except for the several new Metaboxes:
--Portfolio Categories
You may create and assign a Portfolio Category to the specific post you create.
-- Portfolio Post Settings
You may define the portfolio post type here, if it's either going to be a "Standard" portfolio post, a Direct Lightbox gallery (or video) or an External Link.
And lastly, you may insert a Short Description that will be displayed below the thumbnail on the Portfolio Page if you use the "Default" portfolio page layout.
--Image Gallery
You can declare the type of the post gallery (if it's not a video post) and upload as many images as you wish.
--Video Post
You can declare whether the post is going to be video or not so basically you don't need to worry about this section if the post isn't going to be a video one.
Und dann speichern oder wie? Da steht nichts zu. Vielleicht ist genau das der Fehler, den ich mache?
--7.2. Creating Portfolio Page
After we've got some portfolio posts and categories created, we will need a portfolio page that will actually display them for us.
To create one, simply add a New Page (ich schätze mal, damit ist "Neue Seite erstellen" gemeint)and select one the Portfolio Template from the Page Attributes field:
Pick the Portfolio Page layout:
NOTE: Portfolio Page doesn't support the Double Sidebar layout!
Pick the Portfolio Style and Number of Columns:
Lastly, select Portfolio Categories you'd like to display on it:
Then just hit the 'Publish' button and we are done.
NOTE: You may create as many portfolio pages as you want.

Problem ist: Ich mache alles wie beschrieben. Setze die Häkchen wie auf den Bildern, aber es werden im Blog keine Bilder angezeigt. Noch nichtmal das Geschriebene wird im Reiter "Portfolio" übernommen, obwohl ich es rechts bei der Templatewahl ausgewählt habe.
Ich hoffe, mir kann jemand helfen....
Hänge schon 4 Tage hintereinander bis in den Morgenstunden dran...
