3rd FC user meeting in Dubai (09th -10th June 2009)

Also in 2009 we are planning a new FC user meeting in Dubai and surroundings.

After 2006 (3 user) and 2007 (>5 user) we estimate more enthusiastic photographer in the Arab boom town of Dubai.

Picture themes are ten a penny and friendly people of course too.

At the moment we do not have a fixed agenda. We'll meet on the 9th of June and organize some tours for the next day.

Potential landmarks are:

- Dubai Marina

- Desert tour

We had enough trips for Desert Safaris, this we can go for some other new destinations.

It's breathtaking valley or 60 kms. Adventurous drive. Needs one full day. needs Oman visa for Dhs. 10/=.

Another beautiful place will Maoutains, sea and valleys. Needs Oman visa on border. advisable for two days. We can also go through wadi al Bih with four wheel drive.

It is in Oman, take a two days visa on Oman border.
3 hrs drive from Dubai. Tallest moutain in Middle east.
I have never been their, so no more additional info. Get from internet.

@Abdul: I don't think that we will have time for a one-day trip to Oman. Because we are only a view days in Dubai.

@ Sven, OK. We will go as per the plan.
imho, I have another proposal for date change; if it will be convinient for all.
As of UAE they have off days only on Fridays and Saturdays. If we can schedule it for these day, it will much easier for UAE members to join the event.
